Jacqueline Herrera
President

Jacqueline Herrera is MPMF’s Board President and Co-founder. She is a writer and storyteller who has been the recipient of numerous awards for her creative work, including The Deauville Green Awards (Silver), and an Artists as Second Responders Award from the Music Changing Lives Foundation. She currently serves as the Director of Communications for Caminar Latino-Latinos United for Peace and Equity.

It was Jacqueline’s idea to start hosting live music in a free, drive-in format during the 2020 pandemic, as a way to keep live music alive. She continues to dedicate her time to Mon Petit Mojave because she believes that music, nature, and art are healing and unifying elements for our communities, and should be easily available to anyone. And she also loves a good party.

Jenn LR Hernandez is an event and arts professional with a soft spot for good food. She is zealous about bolstering the intersection of music + community. She emailed Jacqueline and Jeremie one time in 2020 about ‘helping in any way possible,’ and here we are today. As the General Manager of MPM, and MPMF’s Board Secretary, she greets each and every car that will experience the magic under that Joshua tree – including yours!

Over the last 15 years, Jenn has worked in various pockets of the music industry, from box offices at venues to training staff for large scale festival operations across the West Coast. Her current day job is at a live events company, focusing on ticketing and tech needs. Jenn is currently dusting off her BFA and re-igniting her passion for studio art. Catch her at this year’s Art Tours.

Michael Wielock
Board Member

Michael Wielock is more than a familiar face at Mon Petit Mojave; some would call him the organization’s “first volunteer.” Michael has been a steadfast supporter and advocate for its mission to promote accessible exposure to art and culture and it’s transformative power to enrich lives and foster community spirit.

By day, Michael works from home as a consultant for an audio video production company based in Los Angeles (hopefully someday soon with a dog at his feet).

His career allows him the flexibility to pursue his diverse passions outside of work which include writing and illustration, antique Native American jewelry, petting and talking to dogs, riding motorcycles, and his friends.

Adriana Galindo
Board Member

Adriana has been practicing employment law for more than 13 years in respected boutique and national law firms. Currently, she is a senior attorney investigator at Adam Law, where she conducts investigations and cultural assessments for non-profit organizations, counties, and schools.

Ms. Galindo is deeply committed to MPMF’s mission of making the arts accessible to everyone. Raised by a single mother with limited access to the arts, Ms. Galindo strongly believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of live music, regardless of their financial situation.

She lives in Los Angeles, CA, and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Michael Harris
Board Member

Michael R. Harris is a new member of the MPMF’s board. He is the Senior Researcher of the Emmy Award winning game show Jeopardy! and has worked in entertainment in various capacities including producing theater and as a Show / Segment Producer of various TV Talk Shows. An avid traveler Michael has been to all 7 continents and continues to enjoy experiencing new cultures through art and music.

As a long time musician he discovered Mon Petit Mojave to be a balm for the soul during the height of Covid. He is honored to be able to serve as a board member and to further the MPMF’s mission of bringing music and cultural programming to the desert communities.
